Objective

Our client, founded in Scotland but operating in Germany, had their 12th anniversary coming up and wanted to celebrate in style. They wanted to go back to where it all started and showcase beautiful Scotland to their German employees.

Arrival and Day One

The group arrived at Glasgow Airport and embarked on a picturesque drive towards Loch Fyne. En route, they enjoyed a delightful lunch, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. Their first stop was at Fyne Ales Brewery, where they were treated to a tour and tasting experience.

For some fun, the group engaged in an archery competition amidst the stunning backdrop of Loch Fyne, accompanied by Jacobite clansmen demonstrating traditional warrior skills. The participants were outfitted in branded kilts with the client logo and long socks, adding a touch of traditional Scottish flair to the event. Refreshments were served as the day’s activities came to a close.

Day Two and Three

The group continued their journey to Campbelltown, where they stayed across three hotels, each within walking distance of each other. After settling in, they enjoyed a tasty dinner followed by a productive meeting and some evening drinks.

The following day, the group ventured to a private castle estate for a day of Highland-themed activities. They took part in a mini Highland Games, trying their hand at traditional Scottish games such as caber tossing and tug-of-war. Following a picnic lunch, the group went on a tour of the historic castle, before concluding with a visit to a nearby gin distillery. In the evening, the group gathered in a field for a BBQ, sampling locally sourced meats. A DJ provided the soundtrack for the festivities, and to the surprise of all, the company’s employees choreographed a flash mob performance they had been secretly rehearsing for weeks.

Outcome

This immersive corporate retreat in Scotland showcased the perfect blend of adventure, luxury, and cultural immersion, leaving a lasting impression on the participants and strengthening bonds within the company.
